ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The importance of Atomic , Molecular and Chemical Physics is well evident from the list of Nobel prize awardees towards the end of the last century. The present domain of Atomic and Molecular Physics has widened to a great extent and Chemical Physics plays an integral and an important part of it. Thus, it has been opined to organise a conference on this broad area of scientific endeavour in India and abroad.

CDAMCP,2002 has been planned with an objective to gain a broader appreciation of theoritical research in Atomic , Molecular and Chemical Physics , thriving on strong participation by scientists of world repute and post doctoral associates. CDAMCP,2002 will hopefully serve as a major forum to bring together the scientists hailing from government labs,industries and esteemed institutions on one common platform to review the current status of research and generate new ideas. It will also aim at stimulating new ideas on the use of lasers and providing the right direction and proper pace for research in this area.

It is our earnest hope that it will allow plenty of room for full interaction between Indian and foreign scientists providing an insight into concepts and ideas in theoritical and experimental physics.

We aim at serving the conference as a forum for meaningful and purposeful deliberations for future research in the new millenium.

This conference has been organised under the convenership of Prof. Manmohan ,Department of Physics and Astrophysics , University of Delhi.
